Update forum icons to 1.80?

Quick request - would it be possible to update / add icons for the ships that are available by default in 1.80 to the forum gallery or icons?

I'm still in the Boa 2 Quantum Pelican and it would be nice for my icon to match what I'm flying in-game...

Why not just make your own and upload it - this can be done via the user Control Panel (top right of the screen). From memory the maximum size is 112x112px.
Of the available ones, some are the old default ships and some are taken from an early version of my Shipset. I made the avatars and sent them to Giles who kindly added them to the library. I expect if somebody wanted to make a new set using the new ships, he'd be happy to add them.

Sounds like the sort of project I could manage. If someone would like to send me a collection of the new ships' pictures (ideally with an easy to remove background - a solid colour, not a starfield) then I'll do the work and add a new gallery to the available avatars.

The new core shipset is CaptSolo's shipset, so those pics should suit.

Those pics would be great, if they weren't against a black starfield. It makes getting a decent transparency very tricky.

In this post, cim mentions having a file with shots of all new ships against a white background. Unfortunately the link is now dead, but he may have still the file somewhere.
