I'm just putting the finishing touches to my mission, Spylarn, which unfortunately measures in at 7MB. It is very model, and image intensive, so i cant avoid that. The reason for the post is that during creating images etc, i looked on the wibbly wobbly web for inspiration for images of Elite-esque things, and coudnt find one single decent image of the interior of a Cobra. So I made my own. Seeking opinion as to which one would be better in Oolite, the lighter or darker one. Just so that i know wether to alter my other images etc.

I like the lighter image, but I'd also want to note that the main screen in my ship should be bigger, and I'd prolly prefer a 270 degree view anyway...

I can see the images - my vote is for the darker one.

Is there really a difference besides the darkness of the background? It's hard to tell because of how small they are (esp the darker one).
They look good though. Are you an industrial designer?
Having the console and chair floating in front of the spacescape seems a little odd to me, (cloaking device? ) though I don't know what context this is to be used in...

I prefer the dark one, despite the lens flare - that’s so Babylon 5, season 2 or so. ;-)
