v3.0 OXZ now available.
This new OXZ version looks the same, but has a re-worked shipdata.plist based on templates, and the jellies should not now be mistaken for asteroids by short-sighted miners. There is also a reduced chance of the jellies appearing as I felt they should be a bit less common.

Great stuff 
Belated thanks to Smivs and Staer9 for an oxp that really adds something new to interact with.
There are a great many fine oxps but not many that contribute almost a new category of entity/gameplay.

Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied
