Thanks!
Will have a look tonight, must have left one of the versions with the testing price.
What colour was your purchase?
<dashes off to get a copy before the cheap one is deleted>
(yes, I know I can cheat and fix the price myself.. )
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied
Too late, priced fixed version uploaded!
It was the more expensive S versions as well!
(not to self, when copying and pasting a number in Xcode the thousand separator it adds in the source field won't get pasted into the destination field, along with any numbers to the right....)

Hi Knotty - been racing round with her for some time now and enjoyed it very much. There are times though when I think she may be a little 'too good' and take some of the tension out of my game. The truth is I'm not frightened by anything, and as we know, we all need the fear. However, just thought I'd write to compliment you on the only 'weakness' that she has. The high maintenance costs- as you would expect from a 'supercar' - eat into any profits really effectively, and make it difficult to earn much real money. Really well thought out. Thanks again
Thanks!
Did worry about the change in the game dynamic with this, but that's the real difference oxp's bring to oolite, changing the nature to bring something different.
The next step would be to try and convey the agony of sitting in the rear seats for any length of time, or maybe making it too wide to park easily....
Seem to have overlooked the price typos in standard model white, and "S" model basic grey shipyard.plist entries. Just picked up an "S" with Naval Energy Unit installed for just over 50k!
Haven't really played her yet, but she is definitely a looker!
Was wondering if "fixing" the prices after buying ship would cause any problems with my game? I know I've seen some mention of certain types of edits being logged as "cheats" by the game.

No.. it won't cause any problems with your game.. and although the game logs suspected 'cheats', it won't actually do anything about it.

Just noticed something a bit weird... I have "MvM_veloceeappuntita v1.1.oxp" in my addons folder, but the in-game oxp manager lists the latest version as 1.1.
Is the old version newer than the new version?
I ran into a pricing typo on this the other day, I could have had a veloce for just 650 credits!
The OXZ is a repacking of the OXP for the new format, the actual model and plist etc are unchanged (possibly i should have run though for typos again )
Although I think I've worked out how to improve the textures, and want to see if I can get normalised maps working (she's supposed to be sleek, smooth and clean, but a bit more detail for the window and hatches would look better)
If you find one for 650, I'd get the interior professionally valeted, and check the service and credit history...
What I should have written is "I have "MvM_veloceeappuntita v1.1.oxp" in my addons folder, but the in-game oxp manager lists the latest version as 1.0".
But from what you just typed, I guess I should just delete the oxp version and install the oxz via the manager, and in time an even smoother and cleaner version 1.2 will be released to replace it.
Beautiful ship BTW, always a pleasure to see it in the spacelanes.
Yes, I sooooooo like to think the ship dealer didn't know what he was selling and I got it at a bargain!!
I'm a proud owner of the S version, and the only regret I have is I can't use two at the same time.
I took the price as an advertisement for a short test drive.
Really a beautiful ship. Together with the Escort deck it vaguely resembles ships known as Enterprise in other worlds
Fast and manoeuvrable. Didn't take it to a battle though.
Nothing for me though, I am staying with a multi-role ship for now. That ship does not have enough freight room for me.
Thanks!
See, it's just like the real world GTs, which is why I keep having to borrow my girlfriends Clio to shift a few boxes around
Think I'll leave the pricing bug, i like to think of it as more of a "hidden feature"..
