Mercurial Amethyst escorting Starboat Random towards the safety of the aegis at Belere, after a little misadventure in interstellar space. Gotta admit, I felt a little guilty, but the Cobra Mk I is a tough old ship, and I needed to cross the Great Rift. I knew it could survive - especially with an ace wingman running interference!

Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

Got bored in my Mining Transporter and took my chances when I saw a blue sphere luring me in. What an alienesque sight greeted me when I came out of the witch space tunnel.
