Speaking of Traveller, if you're a fan of that or would just like to see an SF show about traders in the space lanes in general, there is a Kickstarter you might be interested in!

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/d2 ... r-tv-pilot

Marc Miller himself is involved!

If any of the live action clips fail to impress, remember they are proof-of-concept only, not actual footage. They'll be making real sets to work with if it goes through. But given the passion here for fan based projects stretching the boundaries, I'm going to bet this will get people excited regardless. If you still have doubts, I have some arguments in its favor here:

A beginning from the humble Python. Is this the Scout or the Courier?

Nice.. me likes! 8)
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

Hell, I have to admit, I'd love to see a faithful Babylon 5 universe made... not just the station or the odd ship, but a re-package that changes all ships and stations :D

Speaking of nostalgia, The Arcadia from Captain Harlock (the green version seems quite similar in shape to Griff's Python) would kill me.

Pretty much how I feel as well.

However, I am still eagerly anticipating Elite Dangerous. Just don't think my PC can handle it given the specs I've seen (but man, playing that with Occulus Rift would be AWESOME)

I wish... maybe sometimes create too, starship Prometheus from my favorite CZ komix Brains revolt (1977) from ABC magazine

Image

I have try translate the first page from you, and free papermodel of first variant (textures used from komix)

Image Image

but in second season has Prometheus changed to look more "cool"... and it papercraft model from magazine

Image Image

(in case on interest I can try translate more pages from komix and post it to Fiction section, but really sorry for bad google translate)

---

second wish is a battleship Vltava from novell, written by my pal Chekotay (madbrahmin.cz), storyline I really love (maybe you too) I try translate later, but it take a lot time for me,
3D model itself create another pal play3r (in blender :P) and can carry 105 missiles, MUHAHAHA  diameter 30m, long about 250m
