Morning,
Noticed this this morning. In aft view - hostile ship visible in aft view fires a missile just before it is destroyed. I fire ECM and briefly a target box with unknown target appears to leave the rear of my ship and moves rapidly towards the missile, before disappearing when the missile is destroyed.

Do you usually reply to posts that are 2.5 years old?Plisken wrote:do you have "missile spoof oxp" or something installed?maybe you targeted a flare ??
(my guess is that it was an AMS dart)
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

As far as the bug itself goes ... there was a subtle bug with the Target System Memory Expansion that got fixed a while back but since the 1.77.1 release, so it may have been that.
