Enusbi (G7) Famous for its tree snakes and casino's must be a very hot place. I wonder how thick the tree snake skin is.
Reminds me a bit of the recent Kepler findings of planets orbiting very close to their parent star.
I now officially request a sunscreen.OXP. For better visibility in those situations

Enusbe? Ha! I'm parked-up at Andibia, only a short jump away. Perhaps you need a far-sun thingy, Pag.pagroove wrote:Enusbi (G7) Famous for its tree snakes...

@ Cody. Ha thats nice!. I have G7 as a base of operations for a while now. Funny thing is that this is with distant suns. But this planet is an exception. Also it is an M class star. But this situation is exceptional. Most of the time the planets are sufficiently far away from the star. So I like it that this is really a special approach.

Freakin' beautiful - I just noticed that the trunk is to v1.79. I have to look into that

I like explosions, especially big ones, and the explosions in 1.79 are rather good.CommRLock78 wrote:[snip] I just noticed that the trunk is to v1.79.

Re: Screenshots
Big explosions are good . I just did a home folder install of 1.77.1 from the website the other day - everything seems to be running well. I downloaded the trunk tonight - so I now need to remove the old trunk (build 5610), install 1.77.1 system-wide, then I can check out 1.79 in /home/ folder - I can't wait!Cody wrote:I like explosions, especially big ones, and the explosions in 1.79 are rather good.CommRLock78 wrote:[snip] I just noticed that the trunk is to v1.79.

Re: Screenshots
Getting buzzed by a Griff Moray (unfortunately, you can't see its colours flow in a still):
Thing is, that Moray was clean (as was I), it was within the aegis, and it and its pals were waiting to follow me through my wormhole (or track me beyond the aegis). They do that - they even buzz me when I'm awaiting docking clearance, trying to get at me, even gently nudging me, looking for a reaction. I have made powerful enemies!

This Courier lifestyle sounds quite interesting.. I can see I'm gonna have to give it a try.
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

Re: Screenshots
Aye, it certainly can be, and lucrative too - but interesting is a relative term, of course. In my almost-standard iron-assed Cobra Mk III, coupled with my self-imposed handicaps, it is indeed interesting - very interesting. But in a heavily-armed OXP ship? Go find out, Diz - but be warned: those assassins can, and do, hit bloody hard!Diziet Sma wrote:This Courier lifestyle sounds quite interesting..
