With that, I would have to agree.. the plasma balls fired from turrets could use a similar makeover, IMO.

Ooh - that's looking very nice.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

Now this is what I call coordinated firepower - Her Imperial Majesty's Space Navy doing its thing in interstellar space:

And it was served up very well done, no doubt..

It's not just well coordinated, either.. talk about precision.. not one of those beams misses the target.

Aye, it was impressive to watch. That precision take-down came towards the end of a fierce firefight - and I was thankful for the snapshot button on my 'stick.

This is without any changes being made to the accuracy entry in shipdata.plist. The next alpha release will make them more accurate and thir piloting skills greater (to combat the fact it's easier to take on a few of them in the previous release). Balance will also be restored so the Thargoids can give as good as they get!

Though being CLASS_MILITARY they will get at least a positive accuracy value, which activates moderately improved aim and disables some of the actively unhelpful combat 'tactics'.

A newly-commissioned Asp MK II, of Her Imperial Majesty's Space Navy, out on shakedown patrol (its four Sidewinder wingmen are close astern of me):

Unlike the other night though, HIMSN took a right-royal slappin' in intergalactic space tonight - as an observer, scooping a few escape pods was all I could do.
