What could cause this behavior?
Does the colony have a low bounty and the "People's Police" ship keep attacking it?

There are several such quirks in trunk at the moment - some of them crack me up!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

My favourite so far was when a thargoid attacked a bulk hauler. This hauler, and all the other haulers in the convoy, were inching away from the thargoid like they do, and there was a pack of bounty hunters - and me - trying to splat the bugs. We were a bit late for the one hauler, which blew up in a shower of escape capsules, and then we managed to kill the thargoid. Just as everyone was breathing a sigh of relief, literally five seconds later, one of the other hauler captains piped up with "Bored now!", proving that bulk hauler captains have an excellent sense of humour in a crisis.

Not to mention that you really have to watch playing games like poker with bulk transport crews - after all, they've got plenty of time to practice their gambling skills

Or at least, the cops sure are.. maybe they're descended from USA cops, who certainly seem to be living up to the 'stoopid' moniker lately..

Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied
