I wanted to check my status before a hyperspace jump and accidentally pressed F5 exactly as the countdown reached zero. Result - everything froze, showing the status screen, and stayed frozen, the only way I could find to get out was to hit control-alt-del, exit the game, and reload. No big deal, but annoying. Unfortunately I didn't think to check for error logs etc. and I've flown a couple more flights since then, but I thought I'd better pass this on anyway.
This was with Windows 7 64-bit running the latest release of Oolite, 8GB RAM, in full screen mode. The other thing I should probably mention is that Firefox was open, though I wasn't using it at the time.

Forgot to add that the reason I was checking status was that I was on 5998 kills. This is what the status screen looks like now, I'd expected to see a different word after rating...

Elite rating, you mean? It was 6400 kills in BBC Elite, and it is 6400 kills in Oolite too (or 25 ROCs).
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
