Erm, the original idea was not to stop scoopers or trick them, the thought was effectively making a homemade mine type explosion - using it as a weapon.
We have booby trapped cargo? I missed that one...

Here's a thought, do cargo containers (of any sort) burn up if ejected when close to a sun? Or a planet come to that. If not should they?

Indeed interesting thought:
they should....if your cabin temperature is rising with shields up, imagine an unshielded crate suddenly exposed to 1000000 lumen of solar radiation.
If a foodcrate was filled with maize kernels it could be quite spectacular!
Not sure about other stuff though....in general cannisters should just disintegrate when dumped in a solar corona.
Another question comes to mind:
Do suns and planets pull 'dumb' objects towards them?

No… they should melt, then evaporate, then turn into plasma. Burning would require an oxidant; the same goes for molotov cocktails. :-)Uncle Reno wrote:Here's a thought, do cargo containers (of any sort) burn up if ejected when close to a sun? Or a planet come to that. If not should they?

As in, is there gravity? I don;t think so but it may be worth putting in the suggestions box. Imagine shoting someone until the engine dies, then watching them fall to their doom...Arexack_Heretic wrote:Another question comes to mind:

The act of talking b*ll*cks whilst waving one's arms about wildly is referred to as testiculation.
