NASA offers models of space craft, satellites, space stations, space suits, ... under a very permissive license. Imagine suddenly seeing the voyager probe in witch space 8)

I can just imagine these being added as frangible parts to our vessels... dish antenna, probes, external floating targets... Yousser :)

I recall Knotty using the NASA spacesuit model from this collection to create his Felix Baumgartner tribute, Astronaut OXP.
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied
