Doris Lessing has died

Post by Cody »

She was a great writer, and the only winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature to have written sci-fi (I think) - Canopus in Argos: Archives was strangely excellent.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

My wife told me just a few minutes ago. We're losing a lot of great SF writers this year!

I just checked her wiki page and although I was never introduced to her works, Any author that has been as successful as she is, will be terribly missed as the old schoolers pass through this phase of life.
