Hi everyone, also new noobs and those who changed avatars and/or screen name! ;P
Hoi Rik, alles prima hier: vaste baan op zoek naar een nieuw huisje in Haarlem. :)

Not sure about the graveyard, I heard you sort of finished it?
I did find a few models of monuments lying about on an old 500MB Maxtor.

I still want to:
-fix/expand the trumble_treats oxp,
-Finish the hotrods/tigers oxp, which has been updated and looked after by a good pal,
-finish and release bugbusters mercs oxp, I still need to model a pirate/merc big rig carrier I think...
-explore the idea of and create a convoy mission, with smokey and the dukes,
-update all my ships to new shader and normalmap standard,
-check and update Thargorn thread code, combine with mercs maybe.
-create / expand upon races and add many more racers - which ties in with hotrods
Not necessarily in that order.

Been reading up on what I already did for TT, turns out that most 'new' ideas I had for it were already implemented.
Can't quite get used to the JavaScript though. :(
I still need to write a good story/adventure/quest/mission for it, 'Get Hespy',
there are a few stories starring H about, I just need to harvest them for storyline. ;)]

edit: good point Thargoid: I need to remember what the plans were for the wrex&cargo oxp; it's been surpassed by quite fantastic Griff pods and debris.

I didn't touch the ' graveyard since ages, so the sorting out was mainly (or completely) by our friend Sel (I think....)

I too have problems adjusting from plists to javascript....

@A_H Maybe also finally rename Cargo & Wrecks to be a full OXP, rather than a teaser? ;)

My answer to the poll would be 'before 1.77.1'. I think the last version I played was 1.73 trunk.

Ah, that explains why the OXP isn't available in the game, but is still in the Wiki,

it was once the most feature laden 'atmospheric' add on, never really got out of Beta (or rather alpha) because it had a bit of feature creep, heehee. The graveyard was in fact a bit of a playground for grand ideas, like how many asteroid-monuments-derelicts... can we really get in a close proximity before the game engine shrivels up and dies

And how many?
I envisaged it as being somewhat like the "Gallery" OXP with the hundred or so "hunter" ships waiting at the witchpoint. But with some spiral patterning?

I think it was really killing the collision detection algos way back then. complexity went hyperbolic, So no matter of how good your computer was, it all crawled to a halt waaaay before what we wanted ;-) ... so stuff had to be spaced out, etc etc.
