Handy if you accidently start scooping a trumble cannister: Press the I key for a few seconds, and release, and said cannister shoots off into space.

Even better if you can get lined up with another ship

(not been on target with that yet though)

Also, since moving in moving into my trusty rust-bucket Boa CC, I have found I can successfully mine asteroids with my Military Laser..

Yup, dead handy trick, oddly not in the manual...

Also, mining with the millitary laser is all good but the chances of getting much are reduced compared to the mining laser. Stick one of them to a side turret and try it out, you'll see what I mean.

Another undocumented way of mining asteroids is to nudge them with your ship.

I think we now need specialised Mole Miners alongside the normal miners...

Specialized Belters? Perhaps as NPCs-- Recall running into an asteroid cluster in Arc-Elite and seeing the Hognoses blasting away.
