Re: [WIP]Miner Pod OXP (v0.1 Released)
Thank you! Fixed v0.11 placed into my contributed folder now. I also made a wiki page using the readme to reduce another bottleneck: the first post in the forum which contain the download link but can be modified by the original author only. It is another "Missing Man" problem, but contributors can publish new versions in the wiki until the author come back to update the link in the first post.Okti wrote:Please feel free to release any upgrades for my work on that oxp.
I think better if the [wiki]OXP_List[/wiki] point to the wiki page where we can avoid the old link problem. I am happy that you Okti plan to be more active, I do this for sure only.

It was less based on my faith and more on my statistics: Okti was the 4. missing person in my outbox, and I forgot to calculate with the odds of other personal contacting possibilities which is breaked the predicted odds.Fatleaf wrote:Oh yea with little faith

Re: [WIP]Miner Pod OXP (v0.1 Released)
Hi everybody!
I have some questions about the Miner Pod:
On what TechLevel is it possible to get it?
What will it cost?
Is it single use or is it possible to scoop it?
What is the speed of it?
Movement (pitch, roll ...)?

Re: [WIP]Miner Pod OXP (v0.1 Released)
A standard miner pod costs 50000cr, and is available from TL10+ systems.
The "Extra Miner Pod" costs 10000cr, again available from TL10+ systems.
The 'Miner Rock Breaker" costs 20000cr, and... you know the drill. (ha! pun! Get it? Miners? Drills? Yeah?)
As for flight characteristics, it has a max flight speed of 800. No details about pitch/roll/yaw are set.
It appears there is code there to handle scooping the pods again after use, so (without testing this myself) I'd suggest it's probably reusable.

Are you sure that the standard costs ₢ 50 000,-- and the others just 10 000 and 20 000?phkb wrote: ↑Mon Jun 14, 2021 5:52 amA standard miner pod costs 50000cr, and is available from TL10+ systems.

Re: [WIP]Miner Pod OXP (v0.1 Released)
Here, see for yourself. Here's the equipment.plist file from the pack:
Note: the costs are in deci-credits, so divide each cost by 10.
Code: Select all
(
(
9,
500000,
"Miner Pod",
"EQ_MINERPOD_MINE",
"This Pod performs mining for lazy Commanders.",
{
"available_to_all" = true;
"incompatible_with_equipment" = "EQ_MINERPOD_MINE";
}
),
(
9,
100000,
"Extra Miner Pod",
"EQ_MINERPODHELPER",
"Each miner pod adds more miner pods to the launcher.",
{
"available_to_all" = true;
"requires_equipment" = "EQ_MINERPOD_MINE";
}
),
(
9,
200000,
"Miner Rock Breaker",
"EQ_MINERPODROCKBREAKER",
"This Equipment increases the productivity of Miner Pods.",
{
"available_to_all" = true;
"requires_equipment" = "EQ_MINERPOD_MINE";
}
)
)

Re: [WIP]Miner Pod OXP (v0.1 Released)
That's the definition for all three purchasable equipment items: the "Miner Pod" (50000cr), the "Extra Miner Pod" (10000cr), and the Miner Rock Breaker (20000cr). See the Equipment.plist wiki entry for details about the other settings.
