Weird Trade
Hi I am new to OOlite but first played elite way back in the dark mists of time on my trusty (?) old spectrum.
I had bought 18 tons of food and sold it for 6.4 credits per ton and all I got was 600 credits !!
Has this ever happened to anyone else?
I am going to retry the voyage and see if it happens again but ... there go my plans for the fuel injectors !!
Who do I complain to? Galcop? Can anyone give me their hypermail address?
Btw I am enjoying reliving the experience.

Re: Weird Trade
Assuming you really did get 600 credits.. that would work out to around 33 Cr/TC, so possibly you had some other commodity in the hold, and not food.. in which case, perhaps it's not your maths that has problems, but your eyesight..
Getting old sucks, eh?

Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

Actually I have augmented hearing and eyesight.
I have also got a surgically enhanced knee.
Fortunately the hands and fingers still work for using the gamepad.

I remember going upto Totenham Court Road on a 134 bus to get a sweat shirt printed with the words .... Don't Panic.UK_Eliter wrote:risky

I also remember going there to watch Star Wars when it first came out and getting my Stainless Steel Rat book signed by Slippery Jim himself.
I am not ashamed to say that I am enjoying re-visiting my old haunts on Reorte and Riedquat.
