Excellent job!
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

Thanks guys I'm in the process of testing the ship in game to make sure it plays as intended then have a little tweaking to do with the texturing.

I’ve finally managed to free up some time to get back to working on my OXP’s so here is a teaser screenshot of my latest ship the Arachnid Mark 1 leaving the Daquer system. I have this OXP just about finished so am aiming to release it early next week.
The aim here was to produce an Elite style ship with a specification in line with the core ship set. Hopefully this is something that I have achieved.

Size (metres WxHxL) 74m x 28m x 90m
Standard cargo capacity 25T
Cargo Bay Extension 5T
Maximum speed 0.355 LM
Thrust 35
Manoeuvrability Roll 1.5 and Pitch 1.6

I've been play testing the ship for a little while now and believe that I have got it balanced in such a way that it compares quite closely with Cobra Mark 3.
I will also be putting together a Wiki page, in the same style as those produced for my other OXPs, which will provide further information.

It has been dormant for a long time due to RL(TM) issues, but life is a bit more settled now and I have been in touch with CML who is my 'partner in crime' on this one regarding resurrecting it. Cutting a long story short we should be able to get back to it very soon.
Memory tells me that it just needs a bit more script tweaking done and a tidy up of the texturing, so once we've reminded ourselves where we got to, we'll try to get it finished.
