Note, however, that you're wrong in one crucial detail: Oolite is a remake of Elite, while E:D will be a remake of Frontier (it's going to be a sequel to FE2 and FFE). Those were two very different games, and you'll find a good number of members here who highly regard the former, and disregard the latter. Thus it could be argued that, whatever Frontier Developments do with E:D, it has no bearing on Elite/Oolite.
