Help! I made the short-list of a writing competition!
OK guys, I made the short list of a Twitter based writing competition - the entries are all brilliant so I'm just glad I made the list - but I thought my entry might appeal to the geeks amongst the forum...
Anybody who thinks my entry worthy of a vote - it would be much appreciated: http://www.flashlitfiction.com/flf13VOTE.htm

Alas, short-lived lead as I suspected would be the case...

Just voted.. says your lead is 4% at the moment..

Alas, they actually closed the comp at 10:15pm UK time, I'm not sure why the page is still accepting votes - but it's nice to know I would have won eventually!
Thank-you for voting for me though DS!

And all this happened while I was shuffling children around for sports practice. Sorry, maybe next time (somehow I suspect there will be a next time).

Yes, I too think there will be a next time!
They deliberately keep the voting to a very short time frame to stop, I guess, vote harvesting. (Although I clearly had a very good go!)

So, did I even vote for the most worthy entry?
