Not better by much. You also lose the energy bomb if you use it, and its worth 900 credits. The escape capsule is only 100 credits more to replace.Disembodied wrote:That's why the Escape Pod is better than the Energy Bomb: if you get in over your head and have to press an emergency button, you should lose something!

Yes, but when you trigger an energy bomb you get kills, you get salvage, and you get to keep your own ship and cargo too. You're rewarded for getting in over your head (or it encourages you to take on more opposition than you can handle in one go). The escape pod lets you survive, but you don't get any bonuses for using it.JazHaz wrote:Not better by much. You also lose the energy bomb if you use it, and its worth 900 credits. Indeed it does - as long as you hit the eject in time. I've missed a couple recently due to forgetting to double-tap the damn key.Disembodied wrote:The escape pod lets you survive...
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Yeah, thanks cim... I've been meaning to add that switch for a while.
<chortles> Not for me, McLane - as I have explained before now.Commander McLane wrote:<shameless plug>That's what the Auto Eject Module is for.</shameless plug>
