I have a wormhole scanner.
How do I activate it?
I tried hyperspacing, then I target my wormhole, but all it says is "Witchpoint Beacon"
There is no destination:(

wormhole scanner is for NPC wormholes - it will tell you which system an NPC has hyperspaced to.
You can then hitch a free ride or not, depending on if the destination system suits you.

Occasionly, if you hitch a free ride, the NPC will not head for the planet/station in the destination system. It'll head for the sun instead, scoop some fuel, then hyperspace on out to another system. All good fun, following those - if you have the patience, that is.
