I just accidentally discovered a nice thing. I was heading at the main station when I saw a big liner, a Tigershark... I decided to dock and see if I can sell someting.
When docked, I left the game unpaused and went to do some other things. I don't know if it was just my impression, but when I launched again, I found myself much more close to the main station. Almost in the aegis zone.

Yes you can hitch-hike on the liners. The only problem is that sometimes they will jump and you'll find yourself in a different system!

I once saw a liner near the witchpoint. It jumped and left a huuge witchspace cloud. I found I could shoot ships and hide behind the cloud so that when they went to attack me, they got caught in the cloud!

If I'm reading that correctly, that wormhole will stick around for 10 days.
