Windows 7 64 Joystick problem

Post by OldFartPhil »

Hi guys , i'm running Oolite on my Windows 7 64 bit PC :)

The problem I've got though is that I can't configure my Generic Joystick , Windows says that the device has installed properly and the game recognises that I have a Joystick :?
When I try to configure the joystick the game doesn't recognise what I press on the joystick , so anyone out there with advice :?

Just to check: you are selecting a function, then hitting enter, then pressing the desired joystick button, yes? Oh... welcome aboard, btw.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Ty for the welcome :)
Yes I am following the correct steps , the program isn't reading the input from the joystick even though it's recognising that a joystick is connected :(

OldFartPhil, can you edit the first post as the subject "Windows 7 64" isn't helping you here? Please rename the subject to something like "Windows 7 joystick setup problems".

Why? That's what happens when you're flying a ship in zero gee, and you're making jinky turns. Things are bound to get bouncy.
