First things first. 'Thanks to everyone involved for Oolite'.
I've changed the sizes of the scanner lines, the lollipops and dust particles, see attached links for pictures. 1680*1050 resolution.

Not bad - would have to try them in gameplay to say for sure, but they seem rather elegant.

Hi North... welcome aboard. I quite like the dust streaks, but the lollipops/lines are not really to my taste.
As Wolfwood says, I'd need to see them in-game to comment properly.

I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

Agreed.. on both points.. One of the things I find mildly annoying is the thickness of the vertical lines on the lollipops.. this looks as if it would allow more precision in using the scanner to line up on distant targets.
