Hi
I have just discovered Oolite, played Elite many years ago but had forgotten about it till I accidently came across a link. I am loving this with the OXP's that have been made, I appreciate all the hard work that has gone into them. Got Griffs ships and Station along with BGS and custom sounds so far.

G'day, Redkite, and welcome aboard! 
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied
