Delete commander
How can this be done?

Using your favourite file browser, open the folder where Oolite stores its' game-saves. (the folder is called 'oolite-saves', but the exact location depends on which OS you have and where you chose to install Oolite) Delete the relevant game-save file. Poof! It's gone...

Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

By deleting the commander's .oolite-save file in the oolite-saves folder of your installation. Mind you delete the right one.
