OK, there will be IMPLIED SEX.
Mind you, with the propensity for explicit sexiness in TV shows nowadays (Spartacus, Game Of Thrones, Dexter), nothing seems unlikely.
There will definitely be lots of unnecessary fighting and no important dialogue.
If you want a definitive example of what SyFy does to good TV shows, look at what happened to Stargate SG-1 when it transferred there from MGM after season 8.

So the SyFy channel is that bad, eh? Shame! I've never watched any of it, so I wouldn't know.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Re: Blake's 7 remake?
SyFy targets the mass market 18-30 demographic, where the main interests are sex and action. Intricate plotlines, 3-dimensional characters and well-crafted stories come second. It's not a new concept, but it's one that sadly is becoming more prevalent.
The fact that the channel is part of the Universal network is surprising, because Universal host some really great series with good acting, rounded characters and great plots. Some series that SyFy BUY for showing are really good, but anything made by SyFy themselves is questionable at best.
The writers will be the ones who will suffer, as they'll get repeated instances of "is that character dialogue really necessary? Would a fistfight not be better?"
