I designed these ships with the thought that they would appear together as a squadron of either police, and/or naval vessels. I also have another squadron within the BullsEyeSquadron, called the BloodNoseSquadron, to be an elite strike force against pirates, and Thargoids (and Aliens). Here's the rub, I strongly suspicion that it will take JavaScript to make those squadrons work, and I absolutely stink at writing script. In fact, I've never written one that has worked, myself. I guess this is a plea for help from some kind scripts expert. Link, and pics. I'll try to get the stats for each ship posted on my Wiki page.

The first, and smallest (in fact tiny) is the MT50Dart. This ship is a single pilot ship, exclusively made to escort the largest of the three I have done so far. I've already encountered the Javelin, in game, surrounded in escort formation by MT50Darts. It's quite a sight to see.
The next biggest of the squadron is the MT500Arrow. This ship is quite a bit larger than the Dart, and faster. The Arrow also has four tiny ball turrets in the front, side noses. They don't have the impact of the next ship in line. I envisioned two, or three of these per squadron.
The biggest so far is the MT5000Javelin. This is the fastest of the three, and is equiped with ball turrets in the three nose sections on either side of the center. Six in all. I've had this one out several times (I love it), and it is a deadly ship.
I am in the process of designing another bullet nose that would be not quite behemoth size, but big enough to have a dock, in which several MT50Darts will be carried. If I can't create the squadron, I suppose they will all be release seperately as single ships. Kind of a shame if it comes down to that. Oh, the three mentioned above will have player versions. The largest, carrier, of the squadron would have to be NPC.
Extra note: I intend on a squadron symbol exclusive to the BulletNoseSquadron, and another slightly different for the BloodNoseSquadron. Haven't figure that one out yet, though.

Nice looking craft.. well done!
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

Thanks. I've been working on them for some time, now. They really are fun to pilot. Even though the Dart is one of the tiniest ships around, and isn't as fast as the other two, it's very size makes it a difficult target to hit. I just put it into full gear in a dogfight, and juke around like I'm drunk.Diziet Sma wrote:Nice looking craft.. well done!

Re: [Release]BulllsEyeSquadron
For whom ever may be interested, here are three more oxp ships to clutter up the Ooniverse. They are actually pretty decent ships.

Well, I guess I never really stopped. I'm not sure how much more I'm going to do, now, because I seem to have stepped on too many toes of those in the uppers regions.
