Binary brown dwarf system

Post by Cody »

A newly-discovered pair of brown dwarfs... virtually on our doorstep.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

What's even more interesting is that they are the 3rd closest system to us! Move over Wolf 359.

Which is mainly why I posted the article - there may be even closer brown dwarfs. (I'm still uneasy using 'dwarfs' as a plural.)

I very much doubt that there will be a reason to visit this system for any planets, but it would be an excellent stop for studying Brown Dwarfs and see how they differ from a planet like Jupiter :).
