The file should be in <oolite install directory>/oolite.app/Logs under Windows. Open it with your text editor of choice.
The OXP will have left a message in the log, probably that you don't have an up to date Cabal Commons OXP library installed and that you should do so (download it here).
Heh.. wait until you've tried loitering in the Station Aegis for an hour or so, looking to hitch a lift to a particular system, through somebody's wormhole..
If I could just figure out which ship Mr "No worries" was aboard, I'd vape him!
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied
I'm also not new to Elite, but I'm having a problem with space stations. I travel to other systems, approach a planet, and there is no orbital station. The only ones I can find are Dodos and rock hermits - no Coriolis stations or anything else! It's really crimping my enjoyment of the game. I'll approach close to a planet and I'll get a compass reading, approach it and there's nothing but empty space.

That's not right. Can you post your latest.log please?

£4,500 though! <Faints>
Cheers,
Drew.
Maybe you could start a Kickstarter Campaign to found your £4500 pledge.
Thanks to Gimi, I got an eBook in my inbox tonight (31st May 2014 - Release of Elite Reclamation)!

Old post, I know, but what the heck.
It's weird how it sounds like a couple of them say "no worries". If you reverse the recording, you can hear what they actually are saying (boring ATC chatter).
Thanks for that.. you gave me an entertaining 20 minutes, and what I needed to know in order to create some extra chatter files for a bit more variety..
