Messages not fading
Fairly frequently, I get messages that don't fade but continue to scroll up the screen to just past half way. To clear them, I have to generate a bunch of mesages by, say changing views untill the offending message has scroled off screen. It can be annoying if I'm in a fight and can't see my cross hairs well

Yeah, I've been getting that as well. PC version, latest build.
It happens if you engage a system whilst another message is on the screen. For example, I normally get it when I engage my hyperdrive before using the witchspace fuel injectors to zoom away from the station. When I press I, the countdown message skips up one place on the screen and remains static whilst the countdown continues beneath.
