No matter, it is not like my short story is much concerned with Federation politics (a little bit, though).

I'm holding my thumbs up for the quick acceptance of your draft detail! :)

Whoa, I had thought that they were ok with you dismantling Wolf 630 etc. for your story. Will you be creating a new star system similar to your intended Wolf 630 for your story, or are you thinking of something completely new?

An important week for Elite:Reclamation this week. Can I stay on my schedule, or have my plans been yanked out of witchspace? All is revealed.

Nice. That video is AWESOME.

I really really really wish I could get SpaceEngine to work.

I'm really looking forward to reading Reclamation - with all this video I won't have to do much imagining to visualise the setting.

That video was indeed awesome. The only thing it left me wondering is that will that eclipse really happen on every spot of the planet where you can see the main planet from or is it just possible from specific areas?

Daedalion is so much bigger than Chione that the entire moon is eclipsed each time.

And, in a short update - I started writing today. I now have the grand total of 798 words! Three people have died already.

Cheers,

Drew.

Extrapolating this to 70-90k words, that makes you a mass murderer, I'd say.

Yes, thought that might be the case, but wasn't sure. :)

A great setting, indeed. :)

I will play a tiny part in this whole writing for ED malarkey - as I pledged last minute to write a Drabble for Selezen's RPG book (I actually wrote the drabble first - sent it to Selezen - who gave it the thumbs up, so then I scrabbled around to find the cash to pledge!)

It's a good feeling - although I've not told my better half how much pledging for the game itself and the various writing projects has cost me over the last couple of months... (to be fair she hasn't actually asked...)

:)

Since I'm now going to play a small part - where are the sig image strips held (there was a post to a link but my google-fu has let me down) - I feel like I'd like one/earned one now.

Some are here, and a couple of guys are making custom sigs on request - here and here.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!
