Emergengy Cargo Dump?

A strange thing has just happened to me. During a dogfight with 5 ruffians I saw the message "Emergency Cargo Dump Triggered" and some of my cargo was dumped!

Is this part of the core game or from an OXP?

Can anybody enlighten me?

Nothing in the core game. Could it have been a  Cutpurse missile?

There are some ships one can acquire that have the plasma turrets. And if you get one, clickie on my sig!

Yup, I'm rather fond of the Falcon-S, a Starwars Millenium Falcon clone.

If you get one, see pages 2&3 of this thread to learn how to enable the turrets, and tweak a few other things.
