I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

I considered it... but I'm reluctant to tinker in the ACP unless absolutely necessary.DaddyHoggy wrote:Indeed - I hadn't thought about that...

Re: New members not receiving activation email?
I have a similar problem. I reset my email address on my account for tinker, and never got the activation email and cannot login as I have not replied to the email. I tried creating another account last week to report the problem but that did not get an activation email either. Today I found I could create a new account, this is it, but I would like my old one reactivated.
I have tried the resend activation email button but it will not accept any username / email address combination that I try, could someone please manually reactivate my 'tinker' account.

As he says (twice) - 'tinker' is now in the inactive users list (along with 'tinker2'), awaiting your attention, DH.DaddyHoggy wrote:What was your old Username and I'll have a look for you!

D'oh - I read "Tinker" as in: "to fiddle with or adjust unnecessarily" !!!
I go try and reactivate!

Tinker account reactivated directly (no activation email sent out)
Can I delete Tinker2?

I would think so - and c3po too. But best wait for tinker to log-in first, I reckon.DaddyHoggy wrote:Can I delete Tinker2?

Well... I was clearing-out a couple of 'bots, so while I was in the ACP, katana in hand, I acted.DaddyHoggy wrote:That'll be why I can't find said accounts then!

Presumably the 'missing' new members have had their activation emails re-sent?
