Problems with Photobucket

Post by Shipbuilder »

Has anyone else been experiencing problems uploading pictures on to Photobucket ?

I've not been able to upload anything for the past 2 days.

It's been about 3 days since my last PB upload, so I tested it just now.. working fine for me. You haven't accidentally disabled javascript on photobucket or something, have you?

Not that I know of but I wouldn't know how to check either.

It's okay here, but it has been a bit 'sticky' lately - I think it's 'cos they're trying to get people to use their new interface (which is horrible).

Yes I switched to the new interface a few weeks back and prefer the only one. If/when I manage to get it working again i am going to select the option to switch back to the original Photobucket.

That would only be possible if you had NoScript installed in your browser.. lots of people do these days, so just thought I'd mention it.

You are able to log in to your PB account though, yes?

Yes I can log in to my account but can't see any of the pictures I have previously uploaded (Though they are still on the Photobucket server because the pictures on my posts are still visible).

When I select the upload option I get to the upload page where you can then select browse files however if I then select this option nothing happens.

Since you can log in, probably the best thing is to see if you can fix it by changing your account settings.. it may be that awful new interface buggering things up. Turning it off may restore things to normal. Failing that, since something clearly got b0rked, you may have to contact their support crew.

I can't open the help page so I think that I'll try to log in from work tomorrow and if successful change the settings from there.

I'll let you know how I get on.

Is it a really nice screenshot that you were going to post after uploading to the bucket?

For what it's worth, I don't like photobucket. :D

I thought it was worth mentioning that I don't seem to be able to see any pics posted on PB right now - it's normally fine. Looks like they might have a more generalised problem at the moment.

Still no problem here, whether logged-in or not. Are you both on the same ISP - Vermin Mediocre, perchance?
