Not a space ship

Post by Eric Walch »

Two weeks ago Steve Jobs' yacht was finished. 'Made in Holland' :P

Of cause, only macs on the bridge. (I hope they are not going to use the maps of the last iPod to navigate  )

So much for taste..

Speaking as a sailor, what an ugly piece of junk.
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

Agreed - So unlike a boat that from the side you can't really recognise it as a boat at all. It could quite easily be a waterside modernist building of limited architectural merit.

I hear it will have difficulty docking – it requires a proprietary port.

Nah, you're just sailing it wrong...

From what I've seen on various sites, it's also barely seaworthy in anything other than millpond calm conditions.

It puts me in mind of the RNLI's headquarters at Poole, actually.

*squints*

*turns head sideways*

I'm having a hard time getting my head around that hull design... What's up with the bow?
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's a cutting edge vessel and all but sheesh... it looks like my old school building.
So then I says to him, I says "naw dude, Oolite ain't no Space Opera... Oolite is Space Rock and Roll!"

Damn stupid boat! If I had that sort of money, I'd have a submarine built to spec!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!
