Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

This really gives the impression of careering round a planet like a nutter.
Plus the sunshine music is always cool.

Man I love seeing Earth like that, never get tired of it.

We have the most beautiful planet in the system hands down, suck it Venus!
So then I says to him, I says "naw dude, Oolite ain't no Space Opera... Oolite is Space Rock and Roll!"
