I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

Yeah, ain't that the truth! All done without side-stepping the 'lanes or any other dodges - and with NPC Shields installed, plus an encounter with a Green Gecko (which Commander Jameson somehow managed to survive - he's a crafty fox)!

Re: Screenshots
I wouldn't know, really. Have to say this: I use every one of your textures. The specular map - or whatever it does - in the diffuse textures alpha channel is layered on top of the recombined RGB, using whatever mode and opacity that produces a pleasing effect. But what is agreeable to me is, of course, purely subjective.Griff wrote:Wow, that looks better than the shader version!

Re: Screenshots
As I plugged this over in the Oolite Embassy at SSC today, I thought it deserved another mention here - the Oolite Image Repository!
I also gave this a plug, which may be of interest to some members - Giles' Oolite Models.

Combine this with "deluxe" counters from the 3D scanning and you've got yourself a distinct possibility.
