So Elite IV may yet still happen?

Background images look encouraging.

I went for £40+ one, not sure if I would have had time for the beta.
But it looks very exciting :D

Why don't we offer him OUR services to write the new version - or sell him Oolite?

We have an ALREADY enhanced version with kick-ass graphics and bleeding edge technology right here...

I've just pledged on this project. Been wanting Elite IV forever it seems lol. Everyone should get on board if they want to see this project realised. Here's the link for the project page: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/146 ... -dangerous

Maybe we could do a group pledge - donate on behalf of the oolite forum? Have a planet/star named after our community?

The Aegidian system... I like it...

I'd donate £10 or £20 to that any day.

Oh, my stars ... can it be that space games are making a comeback? Ladies and gentlemen, we must face facts: we are in danger of becoming "hip" ... :D

Well, if it's a group/community pledge, surely the Oolite system would be more fitting..
