Trumbles
All right, I got suckered into having a trumble put aboard my ship by some ex-slave that was suppose to be thanking me for setting him free. What's the deal with these things, and how do I get rid of it?

Oh boy... First, go buy chili sauce!
Got all turned around, lost my nav connection... Where am I now?

Once you know how to, it's fun to get rid of 'em!

I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

To keep your trumbles healthy and with a lusty coat, use only the best luxuries and liquors.

Towards our cargo or towards you?mandoman wrote:Sadists!
Anyway, if you really need a hint, let me elaborate on the first one with the chili sauce (although BBQ sauce is more frequently used): trumbles need a temperate environment, they can't cope with extreme heat (they'd be fried; thus the sauce). Now the 64,000$ question, which you have to answer silently for yourself, not by posting the answer on the boards: where in your current system would you expect it to be reasonably hot for your trumbles to become really uncomfortable? If you know the answer, don't post it here, but go there.

I just had toasted trumble for breakfast. Goes well with orange juice.

I think I must make report of this incident at the USDA that these animals were not treated according to the rules of the Animal Welfare Act.mandoman wrote:I just had toasted trumble for breakfast.

Okay, but can trumbles technically be classified as animals?

If not, they have to be classified as sentient beings, which makes things far worse..mandoman wrote:Okay, but can trumbles technically be classified as animals?
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied
