As a Star Wars (and space-fantasy in general) fan, I am certainly hopeful that this new development will bring good new films. There is only one concern though - Lucas has been very accepting of fan-made derivatives of Star Wars, as long as they are not for profit (for example there are some SW oxp ships in Oolite), however, it remains to be seen if Disney are going to be so accommodating. Hopefully I am worrying about nothing here.
