It was created in 2005 but seems to still be actively supported (based on the fact that the site went down at the tail end of last year and came back again in January).

Can't find any evidence of ACTUAL activity on the site since 2010 though. Might well be dead, but like most small business startups it's maybe one of those "if you contact us we will build it" deals (like my MadCap venture). Not much in the way of updates needed then. I don't think it took off as well as they hoped but then I'm not surprised with a hundred euro price tag and no USB.

Darn - now I need to add a FAN to the bloody thing??? AND upgrade the OS AGAIN!!

It also only ticks at 55mhz which is a bit sad compared to the stock Pi's 700. You are the first person I know of that's got one, Selezen. I read the cases are available now too for the exorbitant fee of £1! Scandalous! [Let Sarcasm=255]. I was in Maplins the other day (=Uk's Radio Shack) and they have the Arduino but no Pi's of any variety Always insist on a pukka pi. That's one serious overclock from 700 to 1000 How many extra milliamps will it and the new fan guzzle?

I don't know if overclocking takes any more amps - overvolting increases the voltage and probably the current intake as well, but I can't find any confirmation whether overclocking needs more power.

The fan will take a fair bit of power though - anything that uses a motor will eat power (relatively speaking). I would probably power a fan through a separate power supply or through a powered hub to save the Pi's power.

The annoying thing is that I've read the new build of Raspbian includes "out of box Wifi" - and after I spent an hour doing it the hard way. <shakes fist in impotent fury>

My Pi is now 'turbocharged' to over 1 Ghz, with an auto-throttle on the CPU depending on temperature... Much snappier than before, and no invalidation of the warrantee.
