v1.76.1 Deployment Trial release
I have been running this deployment release for a few days now and it seems slightly more stable on my system. However, there may be an issue in the manner by which the TAF is disabled. It broke the function of the Thargoid Witchspace Drive making it totally non-functioning. I was able to make the drive work on this deployment release by disabling the dynamic TAF setting, one of this particular oxp's adjustable settings. The deployment release by its design broke this oxp and may break others that are dependent on the TAF function.

Depending on TAF in an OXP is a bug in the OXP. We’ve been very explicit about this on several occasions: it’s a testing tool, not a game feature.Solonar wrote:The deployment release by its design broke this oxp and may break others that are dependent on the TAF function.

Solonar: good luck working around this (removal of/adjustments to TAF, I mean). Although by the sound of things you've done it already. Perhaps you can keep everyone happy by finding a non-TAF-involving way of accomplishing what you want.

UK_Eliter, I am ok with it. I never used the TAF anyway. It was only that the script for this particular oxp made use of it. When the oxp broke, it took me some minutes to make the connection with the disabled TAF in this release. It still works without the TAF but it is written to be on by default. It may create confusion in the future for other users.
