Sounds interesting...I'm currently trading between Xexedi and Laenin, they are only 0.8 light years apart. Xexedi is a Confederecy but does get a lot of pirate activity and is also a tech 14 rich industrial, so I can get all the equipment I might need there.
Funny thing about Xexedi and Laenin, the pirate fights I get into at Xexedi seem more dangerous than Laenin's pirates since they seem to be in bigger groups at Xexedi even if there's fewer of them.

Ah well... you never know quite where they'll be found. I've seen some of the best action in high TL, supposedly civilised systems. Estiri in G7 for example... it often has more action than the two nearby feudal systems (the Maraus hub is the sweet-spot in G7).
This old message hints at how many pirates and traders there are per system:

I don't know if the code's been changed from what it was initially or if that proposal was dropped.
Point being, Rich Industrials seem to have a lot more pirates on average than Poor Agricultural systems at least if they're the same government type.

Yes, the amount of pirates are a lot more in numbers, not sure why. :? Also noticed that you get more 'Fugitive' pirates in stable systems than in poor systems.

That's probably because there are more police for them to get into fights with: any "Offender" will rapidly find himself promoted to "Fugitive" when the Vipers come by!

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

I'm considering taking the jump to G2; anyone out there with route suggestions?
Before you go, have you done the Constrictor mission yet? That starts in G1 but ends in G2.

Maybe you could start a Kickstarter Campaign to found your £4500 pledge. 8)

That's kinda old news; I figured at first I'd hit that coming around through G8. Now I'm sitting in the same route just hammering away at the local pirate population, getting killcount up. I'm currently at 219 and rising every time I stroll in the dark.

I can't help but think that it's a shame that the native missions have become so planned, so expected... too much info on the Wiki, IMO! Hey-ho!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

All I know is that it starts in G1 and I'm not high enough yet.

Even nice surprises? :)

I do agree with El Viejo though, and wonder if we are not a bit too keen to give spoilers here on the BB sometimes as well.
Maybe in a possible future, the native missions can be a bit more randomised in terms of when/where they occur.

Nope, don't like surprise in any shape or form. :P But I do agree on not having spoilers on forums, but that's why we have Wiki though, to find needed info?

I think that sounds like an excellent idea.
