Keep the Oolite Saga 'free'...

Post by drew »

Folks,

Have now successfully got the Oolite Saga onto Amazon, officially. I now need a bit of crowd sourcing...

Could you spare me a few minutes of your time time to notify Amazon that these books are available for free elsewhere?

Instructions here...

Many thanks,

Drew.

Will follow up tonight as promised.
Of note, as I live in Norway, I don't get access to the UK Amazon site. Us people who live outside the civilized world are directed to the US site for Kindle book purchases. However the books are now also available on the US site, and I will follow up according to instructions there.

Done!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Done also ... it looks like Amazon are finally beginning to get their finger out about piracy on the Kindle (or at least, about pirated books being sold through their own website, from which they are taking a profit):

Similar experience here. My publisher (my wife!) received a similar email from Amazon and I had to send her an email indicating she had exclusive rights to publish the Oolite stories on my behalf.

Maybe some good coming out of this whole affair at last!

Thanks for all your help folks.

Cheers,

Drew.

Done!

As noted on your blog, if you use an iPhone to do this (possible but fiddly when it comes to copy and paste) you will have select the full site from the link at the bottom of the site page in order to see the link to cheaper prices.

I have also reported the three Oolite Saga books to Amazon, but haven't done so for the rest.
