I can't tell you how delightful it is to be docking at full speed again: just stumbled across Oolite, and it makes me so happy. The wasted hours of my youth are mine to relive!

I finally made 'Deadly', so I circled around the galaxies and returned to Lave and the local stellar neighbourhood. It felt like walking into ones childhood home which one hadn't seen in ages. Everything's smaller than it used to be. Amusing to visit Riedquat, which used to be synonymous with "instant death".

Same thing for me.

Hours and hours in the past dedicated to c=64 Elite...and now to find out Oolite is a happy happy surpise. Not for my wife, of course

Anyway, it's still "rewarding" to try manual docking after uhm...20 years?

Thanks Giles!
