Occasional solar activity
Nice! Would that be likely to occur in systems known for being plagued by occasional/frequent solar activity, perchance?
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

<hums an old tune> "There may be trouble ahead... so let's face the music and dance!"

At first, I thought It Takes Two To Tango II was just the trailing escort for what appeared to be a convoy up ahead - then four of them opened-up on me at once. He got stuck into them alongside me, and when the dust had settled, there was just the two of us - gotta love those shipnames!

Random Shipnames is one of the OXPs that'll never leave my AddOns folder. :D

Something I wanted to share:

I've been playing around with different fractal texture generators recently and the one I used to generate the texture of Lave in this picture is the best one I've found yet. I've added the clouds myself, the generator doesn't support cloud generation. But what it does support is different colours for terrain and sea (most fractal texture generators don't have this feature) which makes it rather easy generating textures fitting a planet's description, even in more "extreme cases" (pink sea etc.). I think the textures look quite nice (not realistic though) - maybe I'll make a big set of them and release them as an OXP.

A bovinic manurium radiation dosimeter should be standard issue flight gear!

Thanks for the permission to dock. Trying to sell some textiles here for a good price. Any idea? Nothing fancy - mostly purple wigs, mini skirts, bell-bottoms and string vests. ;-)

Ha, sounds like my wardrobe forty years ago (except the purple wigs).
