I keep reading that as: reports to Google

Probably because of the news reported sites go down in rankings from now on. ('xcept YouTube of course)

Heh - maybe I have a camera above my head.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Okay, a quick and easy one: how many open doors?

"A Million Open Doors" by John Barnes?

Edit: That's more than 9000, but I have no clue what both posters above are talking about.

Edit: OK, I googled more than 9000, it seems to be a Dragonball reference.

What SF movie has never been made, but had more impact on "Real Life" than many movies which have been made?

The movie, of which the script was based on a famous novel by a famous writer, started out very ambitiously: the concept art and scenes were designed by a famous comic book artist and there were even plans of a theme park. However, due to legal troubles, the project did not come to fruition.

That would have been the end of it, if a "third party" had not taken over the project with a completely different purpose in mind...

Nope.

The "third party" in my previous hint was a secret service in need of a cover.

The original story won a Hugo Award for best novel - it can be read as "Science Fiction" or as "Fantasy" depending on interpretation by the reader.

A movie about the movie which has never been made and the successful secret service exfiltration operation for which it was a cover is scheduled to be released this fall.

One more clue:

Sorry, still no ideas. About comic books, I like Neil Gaiman, Frank Miller, DeMatteis... but I really don't know this one.
